This works very well over the dining room table that is part of a large open kitchen/dining room area. It is not massive and does not overpower the glass top table. It works well for me.

Can't Remove Burned-Out Lightbulbs

This is a beautiful fixture and it installed easily, but it has a problem. When the time comes to change the lightbulbs, some of the glass covers around the bulbs won't screw off. It took me over an hour of struggling with one bulb before I got the cover off, and now there are two other covers that stubbornly will not budge. I think the problem is caused by the heat from the lights. If you do buy this fixture, I would suggest barely screwing on the light bulb covers so that they will come off easily. As it is, we are going to have to replace the fixture because we can't change the burned-out bulbs.
