Jennifer Carpenter studied architecture at Yale and earned her Masters at Columbia's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. In 2000, Carpenter co-founded the design firm TRUCK Product Architecture. Under her direction, the firm won Future Furniture awards from Interior Design magazine and accolades from top national and international press for their "product-based architecture.” Carpenter's Built by Me children’s collection, which won a 2003 "Good Design" Award from the prestigious Chicago Atheneum, stemmed from her desire as a mother to create kids’ furniture with clever design to the market.
The Built By Me Snap Step Stool is easily assembled and ready to go in a “snap”. This step stool is unlike any other stool on the market today. Featuring clean lines and a modern design, the Snap Step Stool can safely help your little one reach a higher counter or shelf. An ideal compliment to any modern space, the Built By Me Step Stool is perfect for smaller spaces and can easily be disassembled and neatly stored away when not in use.
