Born in 1932, acclaimed Finnish designer Eero Aarnio changed the face of industrial design through his groundbreaking use of plastic. The Screw Table takes a simple household object that is usually hidden and celebrates its form by magnifying it many times over to create a functional piece of furniture. Available in two heights, the Screw Table adds a striking accent to a wide range of settings.

Aarnio's vivid imagination led him to design a table that challenged conventional assumptions about proportions, as he explained: "I have always studied my surroundings, the nature, buildings, objects, out of scale, in which case big can be small and visa versa. With this in mind a small metal screw serves the function of a table: a spiral part is a thin table leg and the head is the broadening table top. It is only a question of scaling. Naturally the same function and shape can be realized simplified but the outcome is very ordinary. The shape of the screw gives the product added value and it gets your imagination and creativity going. You are an inch tall in the land of giants, where even the screws are almost your size."

The Screw Table is available in two heights to accommodate the needs of various settings. The low height Screw Table make an excellent side table or end table wherever an eye-catching highlight is desired. The tall height Screw Table, perfectly sized at bar hight, makes an excellent cafe or pub table.

Available in five glossy colors, the Screw Table is a true standout wherever it is placed. It is a meticulously designed, completely functional sculpture that at the same time features a wry sense of humor.

Delivery Instructions

This item will be delivered by a white glove freight carrier to ensure the safest and most convenient delivery. Please note:

A white glove delivery team consists of at least two people so you will not be burdened with carrying your order from the back of the truck to your home.

Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the white glove carrier will call you to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery.

You must inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the product has any damage or if you are concerned there may be damage, please write "Product Damaged" on the sheet you are asked to sign. This ensures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to resolve the problem.

Delivery Service Options

We offer 2 levels of service for this item: Gold and Platinum. Gold is your default shipping method; if you wish to upgrade to Platinum you may do so during checkout. Please read the service descriptions below to determine which level is best for your needs.

White Glove Gold (default)

Delivery to: Inside your residence to the room you choose. This includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us*.
Assembly Service: The shipper will unpack the product and provide basic setup that requires no tools (i.e. set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other).
Packaging: The shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging.

White Glove Platinum

Delivery to: Inside your residence to the room you choose. This includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights, please contact us*.
Assembly Service: The shipper will unpack the product and provide light setup that requires basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other).
Packaging: The shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging.

*In all cases the shipper will not hook up any electrical or component wires. Having items carried up more than 25 steps and longer assembly periods are available as additional services which would require additional charges. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.
