Designed by Jorge Pensi

Jorge Pensi established his Barcelona-based multidisciplinary design practice with Alberto Lievore in 1977 after studying architecture in his native Buenos Aires. Pensi also collaborates with his wife, Carmen Cesares, on graphic design projects. He has lectured on design in Spain, the United States and at the Royal College of Art in London.

The Design

Barcelona architect and industrial designer Jorge Pensi brings his forward-looking aesthetic to KnollStudio® with the Toledo chair, which stands out among coffeehouse chairs. The Toledo chair is a fluid combination of cast-aluminum back and seat sections joined by tubular aluminum arms and legs. The chair's material makes it versatile in application, appropriate for indoor and outdoor use.
