Born in Milan in 1913, Dominioni graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1936 and in the same year he started his collaborations in Venice with Livio and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. In the field of Industrial design he was considered a "pioneer,” and eventually set up a collection of his signature furniture and objects. The "Caccia" cutlery he designed for Alessi are on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art of New York as an example of fine functional design. It has been in reproduction since 1990 and is now made in mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel for durability and elegance. Simple and beautiful, it has been a hit now for years and will continue to be with its sleek and slender appearance.
